Living, Dining & Kitchen

A short walk and a few flights of stone steps lead you to Belem’s entrance and the raised cedar platform out front. You’ll often find yourself here—lounging in the hammock, stretching at dawn, or just watching the lake reflect the sky.

Inside, the glass-roofed living space is filled with natural light, with soft curtains for shade when needed.

A square table and four chairs sit beside a cushioned sofa and coffee table, all gathered around an open fireplace. There’s also a built-in bench and a generous cupboard tucked between the kitchen and bathroom.

Kitchen

Compact, practical, and well equipped, the kitchen features polished concrete countertops, a breakfast bar with two stools, and plenty of shelving and storage.

It includes a fridge/freezer, four-burner stove with oven, double sink, coffee maker, toaster, and blender- as well as all the pots, pans, cutlery, and glassware you need to cook comfortably.

Bedroom Area

The sleeping area is simple and serene. A king-size bed with orthopedic mattress sits beside a tall wardrobe with shelving and hanging space.

There’s a secure safe in the bedhead, storage underneath, and soft lighting for nighttime reading.

Bathroom

The bathroom includes a large, oval bathtub with shower over. A wide window opens to lake views, with blinds for privacy.

The vanity unit has a single basin, full-width mirror, and storage below.

Toilet & Storage

The toilet is separate from the main bathroom and conveniently located next to additional wardrobe space with shelves, hangers, and an iron.

Outdoor Living

Belem’s garden offers both privacy and open skies. Shaded by a palapa with a hammock, it includes two loungers, a bench, and a built-in concrete barbecue.

It’s an ideal space to enjoy a quiet breakfast, listen to the birds, or take in the ever-changing colors of the lake and San Pedro volcano.
